As you can see, they've managed to squeeze a lot of stuff about set theory, group theory and abstract algebra in general into one song, marvellous!

Phoenix Landing Soon!
Remember Jan's post about the new Mars mission to look for life on Mars? Well, its older sibling mission The Phoenix Mars Mission, will be entering and landing on Mars today at about 9:27am. It'll be the first vertical powered landing since 1976.For those who happen to see this, do click on this link and watch the live coverage. The press coverage just started as I type this. I'm staying up tonight! =D (nerd!)
[Yes, I happen to be a space fan. I do watch NASA TV regularly, and have seen the live launch and landing coverages for past missions (which unfortunately, included seeing the Columbia tragedy unfold)]
Night Cycling
hey all,hope you're all enjoying the pseudo-holiday.
Alright SY and I were thinking of planning a night cycling outting.
It'll go something like this:
- We all sleep in till abt 1pm on that day, so we'll have sufficient rest for the night.
- Meet in sch in the afternoon to mug till night.
- At night we shove our barang into our lockers and head off. Cycle from bishan to city hall.
- Makan and talk cock at Lau Pa sat.
- Cycle ard somemore, and head back to school. ETA: 6am +
- Shower in school, nap a little.
- Wake up for breakfast.
- Back to studying in school / Go home (up to you, but seeing that CTs are coming we shd study)
For those who dont have bikes, there's a bike kiosk at bishan park.
Lemme know asap which days you'll be free for the next two weeks.

Chicken lays gecko in egg
Who knew that would ever turn up within an fully formed chicken egg that was about to be cracked open and cooked? Of course the real story is more interesting (and to some, more disgusting) than that. It involves sex, shit, and a really curious gecko, who got 'lost' within a chicken. You'll never look at shelled eggs in the same way again.

Guitar Legend: Michael Hedges
Michael Hedges... his style was absolutely revolutionary. Most of the present day progressive acoustic players built upon his idiosyncratic techniques and composition.Love this song... It's called Rickover's Dream. He spends about a minute or so tuning though... but even that sounds cool.
OK this next one is an interview... kind of a musician's thing but i reckon it's pretty interesting to listen to his ideas, creative genius and guitar philosophy if i might call it that.
[on a side note: I MIGHT be giving guitar lessons after As, depending on when my country needs me to suit up and blend in with the bushes.haha. Yup just a heads-up if any of you all are interested. Tell your friends, haha.]
