MDA Management Rap
Heh heh... I came back across this yesterday. Its dang funny, the original mda address where I first saw this has disappeared though (must be the embarrassment). You gotta wonder who came up with the idea and how the heck did all the top management agree to do such a thing!
Something weird about this...
http://www.08s06s.ath.cx/v/users/xieliwei/IMG_3491.JPG.htmlWell, I was sorting through the photos I took for this year's RMUN and remembered this photo. Click on that link and login to see the image. I'm keeping it private since it involves someone I (and probably we) don't know.
Pardon the poor quality, I know I'm a lousy photographer.

How Pokemon Is Interesting
I've been wanting to post this, but kept forgetting.Ever wondered why in all Japanese broadcast animations there is this "Remember to brighten the room and sit a distance from the TV" message overlaid at the beginning?
Due to a combination of Pokemon and epilepsy called the Pokemon Shock incident:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denn%C5%8D_Senshi_Porygon
It was also this episode that started the whole Pokemon craze in places outside of Japan (since it was picked up by international news agencies and that introduced Pokemon to the world).

The truth shall matter, and not be silenced
Now, we all know that their are physical differences between the male and female bodies. Such difference include height and weight, and the more imaginative of you could point out some other things too. But, more importantly, there is also difference in brain structure and gene expression in the brain between the sexes. In layman terms, our brains are made up of different stuff. And the interesting thing about that is, it appears that the brains of homosexuals are structured in the way of the opposite sex. Yes, that's right, homosexuals develop the wrong brains (ha, I said that and I have evidence, what can you do about it?) And there's also nothing much they can do about it. If only we can dissect brains, switch them, and reconnect everything... ...
(I hope you're smart enough to understand the digram, He = Heterosexual, Ho = Homosexual)
However the more important point of this is, why am I posting this. And my answer would be quite familiar: Because I Can.
And to take home a learning point, we all are not equal, whether that inequality is born with or is nurtured through the environment (and in more cases both, except for identical twins). And that means that Science has the right to comment that guys are smarter than girls, or that Europeans are smarter than Africans if those indeed turn out to be the facts (and I have a pretty good feeling about the latter one), without the accusation of being sexist or racist. Inequality beats equality any day, hands down. And I'll spurn those spineless ninnies who insist that everyone is equal as I would spurn a rabid dog.
Yay, its up!
As promised, here it is, hope you all enjoy the photos I owed all of you (yes fang, your knife and ketchup sauce photos).http://www.08s06s.ath.cx
Erm, you'll need to register since I don't feel very comfortable releasing our sometimes obscene photos to public. But if all want it fully public, let me know.
Also, I have an alternative domain name we could switch to, but its a bit "kick-ass", so I thought I'd ask. Would http://www.08s06s.kicks-ass.net or http://www.08s06s.kicks-ass.org be cooler? (We can have this blog hosted there too!)
Oh yeah, you can upload your own class photos too! :D Hooray for a class photo gallery!

Beware the new SmartPlant 2.0
The Great Lakes sea rocket might seem like a harmless weed, but behold, it could just be the smartest plant in the world. That's because the sea rocket has an important characteristic, it is able to recognise family members. Yes, that's right family members as in father and cousin, not just plant from its same species. And just like any other human family, they try not to suck nutrients out of each other but go attack other plants instead.Beware, it's the attack on the tomato plants. And as we go about our daily lives in ignorance of the plant, soon it will establish a mighty plant dynasty that suck nutrients from our brains.

Anyone likes puffer fish?
Or puffer fish sushi, or puffer fish anything?Well, I know its not Friday, and its not even the weekend, but here you go.Of course we all know the puffer fish is famous for its poison. But do you know that the puffer fish is famous for being a neat freak too? While our DNA contain tons of useless stuff, a number of which are likely to be virus code that we didn't manage to get rid off (but those code can sometimes replicate - Beware! Virus detected in your body!), and basically making our genome one big pile of mess. But if you look at a puffer fish, its genome is much, much shorter than ours, but it still codes for all the organs and proteins you'll see in any other animal (+ poison). Find out why the puffer fish is so dangerous yet so efficient. (Oooh, efficiently dangerous)

since everyone's getting geeky
Hre's a poem for you! From that Harold and Kumar escape from dunnowhere movie.I'm fear that I will always be
A lonely number like root three
The three is all that's good and right,
Why must my three keep out of sight
Beneath the vicious square root sign,
I wish instead I were a nine.
For nine could thwart this evil trick,
with just some quick arithmetic
I know I'll never see the sun, as 1.7321
Such is my reality, a sad irrationality
When hark! What is this I see,
Another square root of a three
As quietly co-waltzing by,
Together now we multiply
To form a number we prefer,
Rejoicing as an integer
We break free from our mortal bonds
With the wave of magic wands
Our square root signs become unglued
Your love for me has been renewed
HAHA romantic or what.
